Accurate and Consistent Water Temperature

The water temperature plays a key role in brewing good filter coffee. If it’s too low, too high, or unstable, the result can be uneven extraction and a less enjoyable flavour. Bonavita’s BV1900TS is highly precise in reaching the ideal range and keeps the water consistently between 92°–96°C throughout the brew.

Pre-Infusion Option

The BV1900TS includes a pre-infusion setting, which gently wets the coffee grounds before brewing begins. This blooming phase allows the coffee to expand slightly, leading to more balanced extraction.

Shower Head Design

Instead of pouring water through a single central hole, the BV1900TS uses a shower head with multiple openings to distribute water evenly over the grounds. This design mimics hand-brewing and supports an even extraction.
